Quote of the Month

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

-Marianne Williamson

I also like the quote that says, "No man made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." However, I am not quite sure who said that, any help?

Hahaha! Just be glad you aren't the middle child! I am and it STINKS! (There are six of us altogether but my eldest bro moved out.) Basically, sometimes I get lumped with the little kids and sometimes with the adults. I have been working to get permanently into the adult group for most of my life. LOL!

Ha! Yeah, I suppose being the middle would suki for the most part. Then again, I wouldn't have to do all the housework. I don't think I will ever be categorized as an adult by my family. Too much sugar intake I think.

Hey, I have to do a LOT of housework. My parents are divorced and there are four girls and two guys. Like I said, my big bro is married and moved out so all the big housework like cleaning the gutters, etc., has fallen to my shoulders.

Eck, why not delegate some of the work?.... I have no doubt that you've tried, though. I feel for you, I'm used as the family 'work-horse' as well... Gutters huh?....same here.

I have DEFINITELY tried to delegate the work out, but to no avail. My little brother (it goes guy, four girls, guy, in my family,) is finally growing up but he took away the only "work-horse" job I really like- mowing the lawn. Sigh...I suppose I should take what I can get, eh? Sister home yet?
